NADEJDA TOKAREVA (RUSSIA)

Laureate of the 2nd Prize. (The First Paganini Moscow International Violin Competition, 2003)

Born in Penza. Graduated from the Ryazan College of Music and the Moscow State Conservatory (class of Prof. E. D. Grach). Present: soloist at the Moscow State Academic Philharmonic.

• 1997 — Seventh International Violinist Competition in Kloster-Schonthal, Germany (3rd Prize);
• 1997 — First “Violin of the North” International Violin Competition, Yakutsk (Grand Prix);
• 1999 — Third  A. I. Yampolsky International Violin Competition, Penza (1st Prize);
• 2002 — Twelfth  P. I. Tchaikovsky International Competition, Moscow (Special Prize);
• 2002 — M. Long and J. Thibaud International Competition, Paris (Special Prize);
• 2003 — First Paganini Moscow International Violin Competition (II Prize).
