Zoran Dimitrovski

Zoran Dimitrovski, born in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia (1936), studies violin at “Glasbo” Academy in Ljubljana, Slovenia (K. Rupel) and at “P.I. Tchaikovsky” Conservatory in Moscow (B.E.Kuznetzov).

After finishing studies, he develops intensive concert and pedagogic activity, performing also at large number of concerts in the countries of Former Yugoslavia and in Europe. He is one of the founders of the Faculty of Music Arts in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia, whereat he has been teaching violin as professor since 1966. He has assisted at Ohrid International Summer Seminars within Ohrid Sumer Festival in Republic of Macedonia, which had been run by the famous Russian violinist Leonid. B. Kogan for more than ten years. His students are currently renowned soloists and established pedagogues, professors at the Music Faculty in Skopje. Some of them are also winners at prestigious international music competitions.
