Born in Seoul, South Korea (1983). Graduated from Ye-won school (1999), from Seoul Arts High School (2002), the College of Music of Seoul National University (2006). Currently studies at Hochschule Fuer Musik "Hanns Eisler", Berlin. Performed in Germany and U.S.A with Carnegie Hall project. Actively recited and played concertos with different orchestras, particularly as concertmaster in Korea and abroad. Participated in different festivals.

Obtained 1st and 2nd prizes in many main national Korean competitions. Laureate of the international violin competitions, namely:

  • The Ludwig Spohr International Violin Competiton (2006): 2nd prize.
  • The European Competition (Thessaloniki, Greece) (2007): 1st prize.
  • The George Enescu International competition (2007): 2nd prize and Ion Voicu Special Prize.
