Born in Tiflis, Georgia (1984) in the musicians' family. He became a pupil of prof. Olga Voitova at the Munich Conservatory when he was 9 and was accepted as a student there in 1997. In 2002 he continued his studies with prof. Victor Tretjakov at the Cologne Music Academy. During this time he also attended the master classes of Alexander Brussilovsky (Geneva) and Felix Andrievsky (London).

  • Laureate of several «Judent musiziert» national youth competitions: 1st prizes.
  • Obtained diploma at the Louis Spohr international violin competition in Weimar (1999).
