Was born in Seoul, Korea (1987). Graduated form the Juilliard Pre-College, prof. Dorothy DeLay, Hyo Kang and Stefan Milenkovich. Currently studies with Nam-Yun Kim. Performed with orchestras, had many concerts and recitals, made several television appearances. Holder of scholarship from the Sumsung Corporation.
Laureate of the following competitions:

the International Tchaikovsky Competition (2004): 3rd prize.
- the Korea Daily Times Competition: 1st prize
- the Music Journal Competition: 1st prize
- Seoul Symphony Orchestra Competition.
