Born in Brazil (1977). Holds a Bachelor's degree from Rio Grande do Sul Federal University, Master's degree from the Manhattan School of Music, Doctoral degree from the University of Georgia. Since 2004 is Assistant Professor of violin at the University of New Mexico. Has been giving recitals and master classes. Has appeared as a soloist, played with major orchestras in Brasil and South America in the most important halls. Has recorded several programs for radio and television in Brazil, released CDs.

  • Laureate of the music Teachers National Association Collegiate Artist Competition in Cincinnati, Ohio (2002): 1st prize.
  • Laureate of the «Young Artist International Competition», Argentina (1991): 2nd prize.
  • Laureate of the «Young Talents of MEC Radio Competition», Rio de Janeiro (1996): 1st prize.
  • Winner of the Music Competition «Eldorado Prize», San Paulo.
  • Prizewinner and special prize of the Fourth «Julio Cardona» International Competition, Portugal.
